Liquids are to be absorbed immediately, as prolonged exposure can lead to discoloration.
If film injuries (scratches, holes, cuts, etc.) occur, liquids can be absorbed unhindered into the filler.
Depending on the inherent color of the levelling compound or the surface coating, contaminations become more visible, e.g. dark coffee stain on light levelling compound.Only step on unfinished levelling compound with shoe covers.
